This part is a rod, front side door lock cylinder (attaches to lock assembly (latch) with metal retainers, for second design see 22565413), for Chevrolet, and Pontiac cars. It fits for Chevrolet Cavalier, and Cadet, Pontiac Sunbird, and J2000 for the U.S.. It's a genuine General Motors part with an OEM part number 22546827. Please keep in mind that this rod is discontinued for the U.S. market since March 1, 1998.
